Really great. What is it about black and white pics that gives them a different atmosphere?

Thanks for the comment. I think because we see so much of the world in color that a black and white images stimulate the senses due to their unusual visual impact. B&W seems more dramatic to me. There are no color distractions which would take away the emphasis of the subject matter. I’m rambling, sorry. 🙂 However having said that, I still like color photos and I take a lot of them (almost exclusively).This year I plan to do more street photography which will eventually produce more B&W images. Have a great new year.

Ramble away! 🙂 That makes complete sense..like it causes you to be more drawn into the subject matter. Even movement seems to stand out more. I look forward to seeing more of your work in the new year!
